Project Overview
I led end-to-end site design for www.littlenook.ca. Little Nook Tackle House is an independent fishing tackle e-commerce website built on WordPress and WooCommerce. I managed the website design, product content structure, SEO updates, and day-to-day e-commerce operations to improve product discovery, organic search visibility, and the overall shopping experience.
The project focused on creating a clearer category system, improving product and category pages, optimizing SEO titles and meta descriptions, standardizing product imagery, and building a more conversion-focused path from browsing to checkout.

Referral data showed visits from ChatGPT.com, highlighting the growing role of AI-assisted discovery as part of the website’s organic traffic strategy.

Managed the XML sitemap structure through Yoast SEO and monitored sitemap submission in Google Search Console to support Google discovery of key website content. The sitemap was successfully processed and showed 213 discovered pages, including products, categories, brand pages, and important site pages.
Project Strategy
For Little Nook Tackle House, I developed an SEO strategy focused on improving organic visibility for a niche e-commerce website in the fishing tackle market. The strategy included restructuring product categories around search intent, optimizing product and category pages with keyword-focused titles and meta descriptions, improving image alt text and file naming, and creating long-tail SEO opportunities through product models, lure types, and color variants.
I used Google Search Console to monitor indexing, impressions, clicks, CTR, average position, and top-performing queries. Based on search performance data, I prioritized important product and category pages for content updates, internal linking, and indexing requests. The goal was to build a stronger SEO foundation, improve crawlability, and increase organic traffic from high-intent product searches.

Referral data showed visits from ChatGPT.com, highlighting the growing role of AI-assisted discovery as part of the website’s organic traffic strategy.

The SEO work helped transform Little Nook Tackle House into a more structured and search-friendly e-commerce website. Through improved category organization, optimized product pages, long-tail keyword targeting, indexing support, and trust-focused content, the site gained a stronger foundation for organic visibility, product discovery, and future marketing growth.

Little Nook Tackle House was developed into a more structured, search-friendly, and conversion-focused e-commerce website. The project combined WordPress/WooCommerce management, SEO improvements, product content organization, and branded marketing visuals to support product discovery, customer trust, and long-term website growth.
